Your MRRTC is an informal group made up of representatives of local municipalities, non-profits, and volunteers that recognize the value in collaborating on shared goals and interests for improving the region’s rail trails. This includes restoring and maintaining the Cheshire, Ashuelot, Monadnock, Peterborough, Fort Hill and other rail trails and connecting Southwest New Hampshire, via the rail trails, to Bellows Falls, VT, Brattleboro, VT and Winchendon, MA

Do you enjoy one of our regional rail trails daily, weekly, or monthly? As you ride your bike, run, or walk, do you ever wonder who maintains our beautiful trails, or who pays for the maintenance and improvements? Well, volunteers provide the labor, identify and write the grants, and solicit the donations. Grants are written by Cheshire County, snowmobile clubs, local municipalities, and volunteers. Today I am calling on you, our trail users, to step-up and join us by making a donation to one of the groups responsible for maintaining and expanding our trail system. Monadnock Region Rail Trail Collaborative makes it easy. Just go to the website https://monadnockrailtrails.org and choose to donate on-line using PayPal or off-line by sending a check to The Monadnock Region Rail Trail Collaborative, 66 Mount Huggins Dr., Swanzey, NH 03446. You can also sign-up to volunteer. All help is good help. Hooper Hill Hoppers snowmobile club, Walpole, NH – Go to their website at https://www.hooperhillhoppers.com to join the club. A family membership is $35/year. You can also apply to volunteer. Westmoreland Sno-Belters, Westmoreland, NH – You can download a membership application on their website https://westmorelandsnobelters.com A membership is $35/year. Keene Sno-riders, Keene and West Swanzey, NH – Donations can sent to Keene Sno-Riders, Inc., PO Box 1511, Keene, NH 03431. Receipts are available upon request. https://keenesnoriders.com Monadnock SnoMoles, Rindge, Jaffrey, Fitzwilliam, Troy, Marlborough, and East Swanzey, NH – Memberships can be done on-line at https://snomoles.org or you can make a donation through PayPal on the same site. Pisgah Mountain TrailRiders, Hinsdale and Winchester, NH – They have a FaceBook page, but it hasn’t been updated in awhile. I was unable to find an active website with information about membership and donations. Pathways for Keene, Keene, NH – Pathways for Keene is a non-profit organization dedicated to bicycle and pedestrian pathways in Keene, NH. Keene has four intersecting trails all connecting in the center of Keene including the Cheshire Rail Trail and the Ashuelot River Trail. Pathways for Keen has a website https://pathwaysforkeene.org and a Facebook page. I looked at both, but didn’t find info on joining or donating. Thank you for your continued support.
